It was a weekend of relaxing. I am astounded at how relaxed I am right now. Especially after last week's work craziness. It seemed a much, much longer weekend than it was, which I appreciate.

Part of it is probably due to all of the good RP I had. Ninja babe battle went very, very well, or so I thought. I certainly enjoyed it and wasn't expecting to get the battle itself, even if the aftermath is not yet over. Sunday's game was excellent as well. You know, one day I want to play a Tharmin just so I can stop having to think of them as the bad guys. I mean, I /know/ that they're the good guys but they're always doing things that make my characters' lives difficult.

I found awesome metallic nail polish over the weekend. It just seems that unfortunately the copper chips like no one's business. This makes me sad. I also got pony beads and hair dye for my Halloween costume! Soon, soon, soon. Of course this means that next weekend is more shopping fun for another bookshelf and rum. Of course rum.

Tonight is Gatekeepers and I'm looking forward to that. Must grab Chris and figure out the resolution to our e-mail RP.

Cassandra's going to have some issues before that happens. That makes two fights she's lost when trying to capture someone. There must be a non-killing edge out there somewhere. I think she's going to become more brutal all the way around after this.

The metallic fingernail polish I had was really cool looking, you just had to base coat/topcoat it a couple of times or it chips off really fast. Black does the same thing.

I've found blacks that don't do it. And I have base coated and top coated this stuff. The silver doesn't seem to do the same thing. I'll see if I can figure out a magic mixture for the copper.

Look for the clear 'nail hardener' stuff that they sell and use that instead of (or in addition to) regular topcoat. Works great to protect flaky polish. I used to wear white iridescent stuff that disappeared like mad without it. :)
