At least no obviously to me. I'm actually bidding on something on eBay. I found a Konstantinov jersey and I want it. Okay, so it's a white home jersey but that doesn't matter. It comes with a signed rookie card too. That's pretty cool. I hope I win it. I am starting to feel the lack of a jersey.

I have the beginings of another story in my head. I really should carry around pen and paper so I can get all of these down at some point. I apparently do my composition walking to and riding on the bus. It's all in my head and by the time I get to a point where I can write it down it's gone. Maybe some day I'll finish another story. I'm not so good with endings.

Went to see School of Rock last night with Cody. Hilarious. I would pay to go see it again. If you are a fan of rock before Alternative and Grunge became mainstream I would go see this movie. If you miss the days when Metallica was good? Cody and I got a kick out of the horrible substituting that was going on but that was just a side benefit. This movie was worth it just to hear a twelve year old say, "The Sex Pistols never won any awards." All of the kids in this were great and there weren't any who were obviously lacking in talent in comparisson to the others. I just wish there had been more time since there were obviously some who didn't get as much time to shine.

And watching all of the kids find their own musical style and having it show up in their clothes was great. Through out the entire movie you can sense the impending doom and it comes eventually. Yes, you do get the happy ending but it wasn't sappy or cloying.

Go see it! It was more laughing than I have done in a long time. Jack Black is great.

I used to love the bus for writing/reading and stuff in college. Towards the end when I'd stopped going to classes but continued to bum around the dorm going to other people's classes instead of my own, I used to just ride the bus around, like, nonstop. Just get on like I was going to class, go /past/ the class, get off, hop another bus, ride around, get back, eventually return to campus and stuff.

Of course campus busses were free to students so it was fun. And I'm always tempted to just go over there and do it again sometime since they never checked for ID - best make use of it now while I can still pass for a college student.

Anyway you should definitely keep a pad and pen with you. I always wear a pen around my neck ever since my last job when I could never find one when I needed it, but would always have to write on my arms until I got smart and started carrying a little book. Some days it just takes up pursespace, other days I write pages in it.

I'm tempted to get a PDA of some sort. I know I would use it for work but I would probably use it for just writing as well. I always have these ideas and unless they take up a section of my soul, nothing ever happens with them and I lose them.

Bah.

I used to use my PDA all the time in school, heh. Got to the point where I was almost as fast with using the stylus-type-input-language-that-I-can't-remember-the-proper-name-for as I was with my regular handwriting. My friend said that I must be faking it because no one could use it that fast.

This, uh, really doesn't have much to do with your situation, I just felt like recommenting.

That's okay. Conversation is good. Very good.

I'd love to get a PDA but right now I'm holding off on a bigger purchase until I finish dealing with my teeth bills.

I hear you. If I get this job *hopehopehopehopehope* I won't be buying anything (like, literally, anything) until mom gets on top with the bills again, then I'll maybe invest in a digital camera, since I'm becoming more interested in photography lately.

*hopes with you*

I understand that. I hope you get your job.

I wish I could come up with a plot for URM. I think I have an idea or two but they would require people who aren't around as much to be around more. WHeeeeee.

You should finish Kwannon so we can have a ninja babe fight.

Deeeeefinitely. I can just see it now: Cassandra and Psylocke duking it out high above the streets of New York. Batman and Nightwing show up to put a stop to it.

Then just wind up staring.

Anyway I'm torn between working on that, and working on the Riddler plot, heh. That's more Oracle-centric: Various seemingly unrelated crimes are committed around the city, but are preceded by cryptic posts to internet message boards by someone going by the handle of DaR1ddler. Cap'n came up with some cool ideas for it, and right now I'm stuck trying to think up stuff for him to do and riddles to lead to it. I was thinking that his motivation is attention, so he starts leaving clues, but no one seems to get them, so he leaves increasingly blatant clues in his frustration. ;)

And also trying to think of ways to involve the non-Bat people. 'Cause I don't honestly know how many of them are the type to actually know about these clues before hand, and I know Batman's not the type to share information ;)

I dunno, maybe I can backburner this until after Oracle has a few more contacts in various groups and can enlist them to try and prevent crime and stuff.

But, uh, yeah. Plots are surprisingly fun to come up with and execute, but I won't say that too loud, because I don't want to get roped into plotstaff, which is the one area I haven't been roped into anywhere yet ;)

I have ideas for Diana. The thing is, they all seem to involve the other big three of DC Superman and/or Batman. I mean, it would be tons of fun to play around with secret identities, especially because she just doesn't have one. She is who she is. The stuff with Cassie is great and Diana should go become the den mother figure over with the teen crew.

Yeah. I can definately see the fight, the swords and the clangs of steel. Nightwing and Batman showing up to stop it, though I'm not sure I can see them both deciding not to do anything about it. Might get Cassandra fired. Maybe.

Of course the best thing about katana fighting is typically there is a lot of staring at each other and posing, circling and very few strikes. That would be nice.

...especially since I can't describe fight scenes to save my life. ;)

Heh. I always know what I want to say for fights and I'm never sure if people really understand what I'm triyng to describe or not.

Anyway.... That would be good fun. Staring at each other, circling, only to dash in and strike and then dash out to circle some more.
