Excite @Home is in the process of having to pay $50 Million dollars to their creditors by the end of the week. AT&T Broadband is a major partner w/ Excite; excite is the one that's set up as the @Home home page.

more than likely if Excite goes belly-up (which it is looking like they will) the rumor is that AT&T wil buy the service completely and take it under the Broadband wing 100%.

God willing this will also include an interruption-free period for us users...
