I have seen the new art for Batgirl and it makes me afraid. I really hope they don't drive this comic book into the ground. It's feeling a bit shaky to me right now.

This is a Robin cover and I must say that I love it. Must pick up Robin and check it out.

Ooooh... more M. Night Shyamalan. So far, not one of his movies has disappointed me.

Waiddaminute... Schumacher doing Phantom of the Opera?

Do we really want nipples on the Phantom mask?

Now that I've seen Unbreakable again, I can say that I liked it. I think I went into it expecting the wrong thing and it kind of ruined the movie for me.

Signs was great. I just never want to see it again.

Well, Andrew Lloyd Weber is supervising the whole thing. So, theoretically this means that there will be some restraint. And Schumacher can do good stuff. He did Flatliners, Dying Young, 8 MM, The Lost Boys and St. Elmo's Fire...

So, he can do good things, just not too much recently. I think Phantom should be okay.

Tarantino had better not be serious about that "double feature" thing. God, what a simultaneously crass & pretentious marketing scheme. Guy's been out of the spotlight for seven years and he wants to screw around with the release of his new movie because... why? So people will write it off as a gimmick and not want to see it? So instead of saying he's directed four features in 11 years, he can say he's directed five?

The previews look great, but this makes me cringe.

I'll probably go and see it either way. I looks great. I'd probably prefer it just be 180 minutes long, though.

Dammit I leave the country and they try and smash my favorite comic! *mutters* Sorry, missing my comic hit right now.

Is the new art really that bad????

Well, the new art is in October, so you'll probably be home when it changes. It isn't the worst art and admittedly I've only seen covers and nothing internal.

I don't know yet. I'll have to wait until I see how things go.

There is the cover. It's obviously Cassandra but she's in Babs' costume. *frowny*

I second that *frowny*. This is me seriously hoping that this is another case of bad cover with internal stuff being okay. If not....

I know, it's just disappointing to come home after a year and face the risk that they're screwing up one of my favorite titles. It's always a risk, I realize, but I don't have to like it.

*snugs* Batman has been outstanding. There are no worries there. You might like where they've gone with it. I'm still uncertain. They're moving more into detailed plots a little less fighting and more relations. I'm okayt with that and it makes sense, I'm just not sure if I like how they're handling it.
