May I mention...
Jun. 6th, 2003 10:44 amThat I hate Ticketmaster? I want to go see Eddie Izzard but I don't want to sit by myself, either. There is no way on the website or their stupid automated phone system for me to actually go in and pick specific tickets. No, no, it just randomly picks something that fits the description of what you want.
I must make it down to the Paramount box office during box office hours to talk to a person. Bah. That will have to wait until Monday. (Yes, yes. I know it is at the Moore. You by tickets for the Moore at the Paramount box office.)
Stupid Ticketmaster.

Date: 2003-06-06 11:33 am (UTC)For Phish's shows in Hampton last January (sold out in about 10 seconds), they rereleased tickets for them at random in drips and drabs over a three month period. Literally you'd call at noon and there wouldn't be any, but someone else would call at 12:01 and get some. After dealing with that, I started to learn the ways around the automated system in order to maximize my calls in.
