litheraI asked for some information from a vendor at work and she spelled it out with the phonetic/radio alphabet.
I didn't even think about it as I wrote it down.
This was one of the ways my parents tried to keep secrets from me. They went from spelling, to pig Latin, to this, to code words.... None of them lasted very long. They gave up after about a year and either told me about things or just didn't talk about them near me.
