Well, well, well...
Apr. 25th, 2003 08:11 amThere was no game last night, very understandably, so Sean and I grabbed Cody and Wolf and went out to have some fun. There is nothing like video games to cure all ills. I played DDR and more DDR and I beat SoulCalibur and played some more DDR. I was doing five foot difficulty and doing okay. Not great, but I was passing. Even better, I got Sean and Cody to play. Wolf beat me at Marvel vs. Capcom. We had Fatburger. It was yummy. All in all, it was a pretty good night.
We had an earthquake last night around three in the morning. Mmmmmm.
The Stars and the Ducks played the longest game in NHL history last night. It went into the 5th OT. That's 2 and a half games of hockey. Crazy. Even more crazy is that the Ducks won. I'll bet money that Giguere was put onto an IV after that one like the triple OT against the Wings. The Ducks vs the Wild in the Conference Finals? That would be great in a "The World Is Ending" sort of way. Of course, I'm also hoping for the Canucks. It will be weird to watch Wild vd Canucks games. I don't know who to cheer for.
I need to write up the story/background that is batting around in my head.

I wasn't sure about it being the 4th, but I knew it was at least second to the Penguins/Capitals game from years back, I watched that one and remember Nedved scoring the winner...
