Thoughts and meanderings....

Well, I didn't lose my job and that is certainly a good thing. Jobs are good. Well, jobs can be good - for the most part the are a nessecary evil. I enjoy it here and I would really hate to try to find another job right now. That would annoy me. I'm changing shifts at work. I'll work later, but I get to come in later. Maybe I won't be so damned tired all the time. I'll get to come in at 8 instead of 6:30. It will make a world of difference, I know.

I was expecting more phone calls and e-mails about my jobness. Kind of dissapointed.

I pissed of a friend the other day. I can't take back what I said. It's not like I made a personal attack or anything. I attempted to state a point of view. If I don't agree with someone, I don't agree. I am not a yes-man. I also will not be yelled at for a view I hold when no discussion is allowed or tollerated. When someone is just pissed off and wants to yell and scream, that's fine - just not at me. I understand the thereputic qualities of a good screaming fit. I don't like angering friends, but I need to keep some of my sanity.

Well, I should go get more work done.

Karate this evening. Whoo.

I get my orange tip. About two months until I get my belt. Or I get to test for it anyway.

I was more dissapointed in people like my parents who don't seem to have noticed. You know, people like that. Thank you for caring, though.

When a similar thing happened here (I didn't get laid off), my parent's didn't call either. Theya ssumed that if I got laid off that I would call them. They were right.

Hey, I DIDN'T get laid off and I called them anyway. I was stressin somethin fierce...

Very true. Parents are like that but my mom freaks out about when we have storms over here that might be really big.

The company I work for laid off a bunch of people. (Sorry Kevin for deleting your post. I might be a little over cautious about my NDA, but I really don't want to have to worry about it.)
