There is a song in one of the X2 adds I posted earlier. I tracked down the song from the lyrics I could hear. "I'm not afraid of tomorrow. I'm afraid of myself."

It is a song by SR71 called "Tomorrow".

I've gotten my hands on a copy and confirmed that it is the song. Go me!

Wait. Isn't the X-Men's plane the SR-71 Blackbird? Since SR71 is from Austin, I've always assumed that they named themselves after SR 71, the highway from Austin to Columbus that is a major route to Houston.

Techincally, yes it is an SR-71, though, I've heard it called a few other SR-##.
