Buffy the Vampire Slayer will conclude its seventh and final season with five all-new episodes beginning Tuesday, April 15 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on UPN. The remaining four one-hour episodes will air on April 29, May 6 and May 13 with the series' last ever original program on May 20 (all at 8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT).

HBO and The Sopranos creator David Chase are negotiating a deal with Steve Buscemi to play a recurring character on the series, as well as direct episodes, says Variety. Buscemi has made a commitment to be available for two seasons, in the event that Chase decides to go beyond a fifth season that is about to begin production.
Andrew Lloyd Webber and director Joel Schumacher have set Patrick Wilson in the role of Raoul in Phantom of the Opera, the screen adaptation of Lloyd Webber's musical, reports Variety.
The Hollywood Reporter says The WB Network has ordered six episodes of "Who Wants to Be a Superhero?" -- a tongue-in-cheek fantasy contest show from reality guru Bruce Nash ("Meet My Folks") and Stan Lee -- for the 2003-04 season.
The Vancouver Sun reports that a few X2 cast members gathered in London for pick-up shots this weekend.
