Movies and stuff.
Mar. 14th, 2003 08:57 amCatwoman has been cast. It certainly isn't who I thought it would be. I have no problems going that way, but I don't think Halle can pull it off. I'm willing to be proven wrong. Eartha Kitt was an awesome Catwoman.
Apparently we're finally down to two choices for Superman. Can I just say that the choice should be obvious? It should not be Brendan Frasier and it should be Matthew Bomer. Looking at his pictures, I can see him as Superman and no one knows who he is. It's perfect.
Sigourney Weaver says she'd be in an Alien 5 if the script was right, but right now she doens't see it happening at all.
Universal Pictures has rehired The Bourne Identity scribe Tony Gilroy to adapt Robert Ludlum's The Bourne Supremacy. In "Supremacy" a Chinese vice-premier has been slain by the legendary assassin Jason Bourne. Of course, there is no Jason Bourne. The identity is simply a cover for the CIA's David Webb. But with someone else assuming the Bourne identity, the U.S. must find a way to avert a international diplomatic scandal that imperils Sino-American peace.
According to Variety, Katie Holmes (Dawson's Creek, Abandon) is the frontrunner for Joel Schumacher's Phantom of the Opera big screen adaptation. She's reportedly already working with a vocal coach. Katie Holmes and Antonio Banderas? ......
There is a MiB III being pitched, though there are lots and lots of problems. We'll see if anything actually happens.
Go! Go and win signed Ian McKellan things!
