I don't know if this will make sense... I know it probably won't make sense to thos of you who haven't played an instrument or sung.

I was just listening to the Superman theme. I've listened to this piece of music more times than I can count... however this time I could hear layers to it I'd missed some how. In my head I could see the music unfold and see the intervals between notes and how they made up the chords. I started hearing all of the parts at the same time but seperately.

I can't explain it better than that but there is just more to it than even that... It felt like an ephiphany as it unfolded in my head. And I'm hearing everything else differently after that. ....

Does anyone know of a place that needs a trombone player? I'd need a bit of work to get back to anywhere near good....
