100 questions with Joss Whedon. Not really spoilery, but I don't know how sensative you are to it.

Dear God. Please. No. No, no, no. -- IGN FilmForce learned earlier this week that the dream choice to portray the title of role Tony Stark in Iron Man is none other than... Leonardo DiCaprio. There has been no offering of the role, he's simply who they want.

Ummmmmmmm. I liked the other artwork for Teen Titans infinately better. *sigh*

Here's the Clone Wars preview art.

And no. I'm not obsessed. Not at all. Fox will have the world broadcast premiere of the X-Men movie on Sunday, including a preview of the upcoming sequel. The 2000 movie will air at 8 p.m. (ET/PT) on Fox. According to the network, Bryan Singer, who directed both X-Men and X2, will introduce a sneak peek at the sequel in a special segment.

Tony?
Leo?

No.

The combination was wroght in the fire & flames of hades, and that's where that idea should remain for all time...

You need someone who can be grittier than that - Kurt Russel or Mel Gibson would be good.

Yes. You need someone gritty, yet someone who can be a complete ladies man. Someoen who can be an alcoholic, lush billionare, yet a genius and realize that he's almost screwed everything up and try to turn it around.

That and Leo just isn't physically intimidating. In or out of the armor.

Yeah. There are lots of good ones of her, though I think she looks better in the one I posted yeaterday. Something about her eyes just captivates.

The X-Men 1.5 DVD has a sneak peek at the X2 set in Vancouver, and shows some footage that I don't recall seeing on either trailer. I know we're promoting the hell out of X2 where I work, and I've already called dibs on the banners and ANYTHING with Rogue on it. If we get dupes, I'll send you some ;)

Was this before Firefly was cancelled? It seems that way, unless they know something I don't about Firefly coming back...

hmm. there's no date that I can see, so maybe it was before it was cancelled.

This is pretty recent. I just took it as he didn't want that to be the last of Firefly, that he'd get it going somewhere.

We have an entire package of teaser one sheets (11x17 I think) with the X2 logo still in the plastic. So far we don't have any cool posters apart from the X2 banner shown in the comicscontinuum a while back (they displayed it improperly, though, it's supposed to be hung as one long banner with 12 characters on it) and a bunch of window clings and 3D X's we hung from the ceiling.

Neat. It's all good. I really like that long banner, though. It's neat looking.

I think Russel and Gibson are a little old at this point but yeah. Leo is too young, too unintimidating and so completely not suave.

That's something they need to consider, Tony Stark = Suave. Maybe in an eccentric billionaire alcoholic sort of way but still, Suave as hell.

I'll have to ponder that one.
