On a bizarre side note and tanget to everything else I've heard and read today, there are rumors buzzing around of the Sci Fi channel picking up Birds of Prey.

*pause*

Well, it is much cheaper than either Farscape or Firefly. And it does have the possibility of getting better if they got a writer worth a damn.

Hmmmmm. I'd prefer if they got something else, but... It would be something.

I'm hoping that *someone* picks up firefly. It's a decent show, when you get to see it in the correct order.

I haven't watched past the first couple episodes

But Birds of Prey was... disapointingly executed in the writing department. I'm not sure if they can make up for some of the errors in the overall worldbuilding department.

The characters and situation have great potential though. I might tune in again if SF picked it up.
