I gave blood. The lady who took stuck me with the needle was not only really good at it, she was cute too. She managed to hit me the first try, though she did wiggle it around to keep the flow going.
At one point she came up and was like, "Do you feel that vibration in the line?" Of course the answer was yes. I always feel strange when people take blood. I can feel it draining. So she moved the needle around until there was no vibration anymore.
So, no spurting blood this time. No trying both arms. No sharp stabby pain. Cute girl!
