Good morning out there. It's Monday. While this typically isn't a good thing, this Monday, I'll let it slide. Wednesday I see the Two Towers. Tonight I play Brian's game... Tuesday and Thursday are nights at home. Friday I go to work and then go to the airport. I'm starting to get those jitters I get before flying anywhere. Once I'm actually in the airport I'm fine. Where this comes from, I'm not sure. So, if I'm a little edgy or jumpy... Well... Yeah.

This weekend was good. Looked at a house that I like. I could live there. I'm not sure... Well, I don't know if it's the sort of place where I could be handing things on the walls or painting over the color and I respect that. I like the house... I just need to think about it some more and go looking at some others. Maybe not enough knowledge for comparisson?

I went shopping for some clothes, because Michigan is going to be fucking cold. Well, we'll see, but I'm pretty sure it'll be cold. Snow helps it feel not so cold though. Have to buy presents for the seven million family members I'm going to be visiting other than my main family. Must pack clothes and presents and... Yeah. I'm glad I'm going down state to the cabin. My Uncle Bob has a *really* well stocked bar. He's rich from the comapny he started and he likes cooking, drinking and playing cards. He's a great guy. The Italian branch of my family.

What else? I don't know. Between excitement over Wednesday and a little bit of fear for Friday... I'm going to be a little high strung this week, so bear with me.

Whenever I get on a plane, I suddenly become obsessed about trying to figure out how heat seeking missiles work. I don't ever care about them when I'm not on a plane so I've never researched it, but it's a great way to wile away the time on the tarmac.

Well it usually starts out wondering what I would do if the plane goes down in the middle of Montana, but there has to be a reason why it went down. Maybe someone fired a heat seeking missile... and how DO those work anyway? Is the entire thing a thermometer or...

...and no, I make a point of not asking my neighbors about it even though it might get me more room on the plane.

I havea good enough idea of how they work that thinking about it doesn't so much for me. I don't think I'd worry about what I would do if I survived a plane crash in the middle of Montana. If I could walk and there were no resuce vehicles forth coming, I would start walking because while there aren't many towns, there are plenty of ranches and you can see for miles and miles in Montana. (After applying first aid to those I could help.) If I couldn't walk... Well. Yeah. I'd wait.

I more worry about what I would do if a plane I was in went down over the north Atlantic or perhaps one of the Great Lakes. Really cold water.

Well it's less worrying than planning. If my plane went down in the Atlantic I'd just die. If it went down in Montana I'd have all sorts of options.

Then again as soon as the plane starts to move I fall asleep so I don't have to spend too much time thinking about this.
