Karaoke was fun. My voice it shot. I sound like I'm croaking. Heh. Croak.

I was reading some X-men yesterday and was talking about it and reading and I turn the page and Dazzler is a pile of dust. DUST! Wow. Longshot is dead too... Damn.

Anyway... I sound like a strange frog.

Well, he did rip out Wolverine's andimantium skeleton. That was pretty gruesome.

Then Professor X mind raped him. That was interesting.

But I loved the way he just shrugged off the pain from that see-through guy. Mags has a doctorate from the college of hard knocks.

And, of course, the X-men save the day. Feh. I want Magneto to win more battles! :)

They will, but he's done damage. Honestly, there haven't been this many character deaths ... ever.

I like the new Xtreme X-men though. Nice makeover for everyone there and Gambit will be joining up with them shortly.

It's new. It's where Rogue and Storm and Beast and Bishop and Psylocke and Thunderbird all went while this war against Magneto thing was going on. They're tracking down Destiny's diaries.

Well, I just picked up X-treme at Cosmic today (I love those guys, they went ahead and put one in my box for me!) I don't know if I like it or not. I loathe Storm's outfit (black bathing suit anyone?) and I have never liked Betsy (who now looks even more like a strumpet, IMHO). It could be good, but it could suck. I'm really liking Ultimate X-Men.

And has anyone else noticed that they're really hitting the Jean-Logan-Scott triangle hard again?

Betsy look much less like a Strumpet than she did in the mid 90's. Much less. I like the sketches for Storm's outfit in the back. S'lovely.

Good things - Rogue. She's looking good. Bishop is not useless, either. About time he was something other than that black guy over there.

Oh yeah. Seen the cover preview with Jean and Logan? Damn.

Well, I read X-Men 113 (misleading cover, all?) And then there's the revelation on te first pages of Ultimate that Jean and Logan were sleeping together while Scott was playing traitor, and the all-of-a-sudden "Jean and Scott's marriage is on the rocks and Scott won't talk about it" in #114. *Why* can't anyone be happy inthese books? Or, if nothing else lump the three of them in bed together...it'd make a lot of fanfic authors happy. :)

Of course their marriage is on the rocks. HE WAS DEAD. Or he was Apocalypse. Either way, it sucks. I need to find Ultimate. I really need to start picking that up, I guess. Huh.

Jean and Logan were always close. Really close. Scott dies and.. well... Logan and Jean got together while Scott was married to Madilyn Pryor. (However you spell her name.)

Mainstream comics can barely handle gay characters, let alone threesomes.

Arrrgh! That comic...he just keeps me hanging on, every two months, just waiting for the next one, in a state of misery...At least the most recent one, while being heartbreaking, wasn't the "waiting of the edge of your seat" that the one with the red cover was. But it *is* happily ever after. He said so....
