I haven't done this in awhile... so...

Brett Ratner is making a Superman movie. This is pretty much killing Superman vs. Batman for the time being. (Word is it's being pushed towards 2006... Yeah. Okay. And if the plot is what I've heard it is, I can lose this movie thankfully.) He wants to cast Anthony Hopkins as Jor-El. Hmmmmm.

It really does sound like there are going to be seven million cameos in X-men 2. They have now confirmed that there is someone playing the Beast. We'll see where that goes.

There is a Birds of Prey episode titled "Sins of the Mother". From what I've heard, Black Canary will show up and there will be general weirdness there. So, I might have to watch the first five of these now, bacuse I am going to watch the fourth one for Shiva.

The title (at the moment - these things do change from now to 2004) for the second Spider-man movie is: The Amazing Spider-man! (That had to have taken so much work...)

And apparently the new game Woverine's Revenge does have an X-men 2 tie in. They put Colossus in there specifically for the Fastball special.

There are lots of small things about Troy and Constantine and all of those Roman/Alexander the Great movies coming out soon. Nothing too substantial.

I hate that they always want to cast some old codger as Jor-El... the dude just had a kid at the time of the story and from what I've seen parents usually have children when they are in their 30's...

Jor-El should be a man of action, not a Gandalf clone...

I heard not to long ago in so-called "Entertainment News" that Keanua Reeves is being considered to be cast as Superman. Now if that isn't a sacrilige I don't know what is.

They're making some changes to the Superman story, what with Keanu playing the lead...Villians won't use Kryptonite to stop Superman - they'll just use big words...heheh

That was for a Superman project that is currently all but dead. Originally it was going to be... Nicholas Cage, but that's dead too.

I don't know if this one will get anywhere, either.
