Nyrg-rar-glarn.

Feeling groggy. For a weekend as full as it was, it was an amazingly good one. Friday I went to Marci's party and was generally social and built a fire and had a good time. Saw people, talked and roasted things.

Staurday involved a long ride to Tacoma on the bus. That was okay. It gave me time to read. I read Squire and Lady Knight this weekend. That felt good, to catch up on. I have one minor issue, but there were hints of it being taken care of sometime in books in the future, so I'm okay with that. Anyway, I had a good time at David's party. Met some new people, watched David.... Had one of those awkward maternal moments, nearly ended up in tears and then I got better. It was a good party.

Sunday involved more reading on my part, curled up in my bed. I was pleased to stay there, just curled up and reading. Went down to Des Moines and did preludey things for Max's game. Ha ha ha ha ha ha. So damn funny. I like my character a lot. This will be interesting once we get everyone involved.

I have Halloween invites. I need to go to Kinkos and then go look for Envelopes and Pens. Mmmmmmmmmmm.

Hmmmm? Oh. The entire relationship aspect seemed like it was handled as almost an afternote. I don't mind Keladry being single in the least, but the way things were dealt with it seemed like a trivial sidenote to me, where as it should have been a little more important.

I was really hoping things would turn out the way they did, but yeah, a little more time on it would have been nice. I realize she was busy and stopped being interested, but she could've gotten a letter or something.

Yeah. It was just one of those... Oh what? Him? Oh yeah.

I just thought there should have been an attempt at something. Though, as I said, I'm perectly fine with it ending up as it did.

Well, it would've been weird if it'd worked out. Too much of a pattern with Alanna and Daine. As it is, it's sort of a natural progression -- several men, one man, zero men. Maybe next time we'll get a queer one (one of the Circle of Magic kids?). :)

I wouldn't mind her and Dom hooking up... but later. Somewhere else, seen in other books or something.
