Do you know how hard it is to find a plain black tie these days? Christ. You'd have thought I was asking someone to sell me paisley vinyl or a neon hot pink flashing sign or somethign the way some of these people looked at me. Once I started finding plain black ties they were for more than $100. Yeah. Right. So I finally found one. It has a bit of texture to it, but... Eh.

Then I had to remember how to tie a tie. I always forget how to tie a Windsor knot. So I went and asked my manager how and he showed me and then I remembered. The first time I learned how to tie a tie was from my dad over a phone. He was in port in .... somewhere in Asia and I had to wear a tie for the school spirit day the next day. It was Tie up Timberline day. ....... That story makes me very melancholy. I miss my dad.

Tonight. Men In Black II At the rich people's mall at 6:30. At least Marci and I will be there in suits. Come and join the fun.

I've heard it's not too good, but really I don't care. I want to laugh and smile and be amused. I think this will fit the bill. I'm starting to have heart paliptations. *I leave in a week. In a week I will be flying. Ack.*
