It seems that the guys who wrote Zombieland will be writing the Deadpool script as well as the script for GIJoe 2.
Word is James Cameron has two more Avatar related movies he wants to make. Hmmmm. Anyway, there are carzy insane rumors out there on this one already. I wouldn't take any of it seriously.
Green Lantern has gotten the official green light to start filming. That should be starting in March.
Spidey 4 has hit delays again (still?). Word is Sony and Sam Raimi can't agree on bad guys for the picture. Anyway, Thor, which is moving along nicely, has stepped up to take its place in May 2011.
Variety reports that Warner Bros. Pictures has acquired remake rights to Chan-wook Park's Korean film Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance. Oooookay.
HEY! Luc Besson has a new movie coming! It seems to be Indiana Jones-like adventure story about a female novelist in Paris. And, hey, like Torchwood, there is a random pterodactyl. Yes, the trailer is all in French.
And I TOTALLY FORGOT a movie on my list. Probably because it is just a rerelease but they're putting out Beauty and the Beast in 3-D. When I saw it at ComicCon I got all misty eyed. I think that is still my favorite Disney movie ever. (Which is a very hard distinction to earn, mind you.)
