Stuff for you!
Sep. 1st, 2009 10:00 amFirst - Next Wednesday, I want to go see 9. Anyone else in? Also, Whiteout is on 9/11, which I also wish to see. MOVIE TIME.
There is a Ninja Turtles animated feature coming out soon. It will have the current Turtles teaming up with the 80s Turtles. It is called Turtles Forever. The poster has a nice feel with both of the animation styles - http://blog.newsarama.com/gallery/albums/userpics/10087/normal_turtlesforever~0.jpg
According to Variety, The Fantastic Four are getting a reboot. This reboot will be produced by Akiva Goldsman. The writer is familiar to comics people - Michael Green. Hrmmm. No details on if we're changing casts or when we're looking for this movie to come out but Fox is likely just tryint ot hold onto the movie rights, considering yesterday's announcement.
This interview may have sold me on seeing Gamer when it comes out - http://blogs.amctv.com/scifi-scanner/2009/08/neveldine-taylor-interview.php#more I like Running Man and Rollerball.
Bloody Disgusting has info on Guillermo del Toro producing a new movie based off of Deadman. I like Boston Brand but I really don't know if he can hold a movie. Then again, del Toro is pretty much made of awesome. Does the man ever sleep? He's got a billion projects going right now. It seems Nikolaj Arcel is set to direct.
MTV is, in fact, going forward with their Teen Wolf pilot.
Here is a first look at your CGI Smurf - http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=58620
Rose McGowan says she is still attached to "Red Sonja," directed by Douglas Aarniokoski and produced by Robert Rodriguez. They're looking, now, to film in 2010 and maybe slot in after Conan.
Kevin Conroy on Christian Bale's Batman voice: “I thought Christian was excellent as Bruce Wayne, but I didn’t understand his choices there," said Conroy. "I thought it was over the top and distracted from his scenes as Batman. I’m not sure what they were going for there. But, what do I know?”
Green Hornet has been delayed from its July 9, 2010 release date to December 17, 2010.
Welsh actor Peter Wingfield (METHOS!) has announced that /he'll/ be on Capirca. I guess I'm watching that show.
Columbia wants Bad Boys 3. (Or as a friend of mine would say 3 Bad 3 Boys.) No word yet if either Will Smith or Martin Lawrence are interested at all.
Rambo 5 has been greenlit. They'll be in Mexico. *shrugs*
