My powers of perception have been lackluster the past few weeks. I've had enough brain power to work, get done with work and not much else. (As an example, I haven't read a book since about a week before Thanksgiving. Considering I'd read about 60 previous to that this year, should give you some idea of where I'm at.)
So, I'm sorry if there is something I've missed. There are a few things I can think of and some commitments I've made that I've fallen through on. This Q4 has hit me harder than before because it, frankly, kind of sucks out here in retail land. (Never fear. We're doing just fine but we've had to work harder to do it.)
If you've invited me somewhere, if there is a function that I should have gone to, if my reply to your question made no sense or anything like that, I'm sorry. If you've asked me to go somewhere and I've opted out... The idea of travel just feels draining to me right now, which is also an indicator since usually I'm up for it. (I think most of my dropped commitments go to Aric and Daedrie for which I feel like a complete flake but I'm sure there are others.) I've also been a wee bit snippy at times but I think I've caught myself on most of those.
Anyway, I hate it when I get like this. I should be back to normal after CES.
Really.
