So.

I have no idea what I'm doing for Turkey Day.

None.

Kris is going down to Portland, which I would do happily this year, if I didn't need to be here on Friday. Even if I'm not in the office, I'll need to essentially be tied to my laptop through some sort of umbilical connection or something else as pleasant to envision, I'm sure. And on sort of a tangent that makes sense....

What if The Matrix was run on Windows XP? Pretty funny.

Joe Johnston has been named director for "THE FIRST AVENGER: CAPTAIN AMERICA". Which, I think is still an AMAZINGLY clunky title. Really. We don't need all that. (Oh and if you don't know that name, it's okay. But you should. Johnston won an Academy Award in 1982 for a little movie with an archeologist in it.)

McG is rumored as the possible director for Warner Bros.’ adaptation of Wonder Woman. This is HUGE rumor stuff. This movie is such development hell right now... It needs some big names who care a lot to get this moving at all.

Nikki Finke reports The Dark Knight grossed $997.5 million worldwide — $528.5 million domestically and $469 million internationally — since its North American release on July 18, and should hit $1 billion any day now. And it'll be re-released in January. Don't know how much it'll do then but it might just be enough to kick Titanic off the top. (Please, please, please.)

Why is Brett Ratner still directing? Why is someone letting him have Conan? Seriously, send him back over to Beverley Hills Cop 4 where NO ONE CARES! Meh.

Pushing Daisies ratings have rebounded somewhat, which is excellent. If I have to choose between getting Bryan Fuller going back to writing Heroes and staying with his own show of Pushing Daisies, I'd like him to stay where he is. If the ratings continue to rebound, there is a chance that ABC could us it as a lead in for Lost in January when it comes back.
