So, all of the major studios released their official previews for 2008. These aren't always /everything/ released in a year but they will certainly give you an idea of what is planned. With the writer's strike, there may be a lot of things that are moved around to cover their bases ans stretch what they have.
Universal's list which has Leatherheads, Incredible Hulk, Hellboy II and Mama Mia which I will almost certainly see. Wanted and The Mummy with Jet Li are maybes.
Disney's list has Pricne Caspian and WALL-E. Bolt (formerly American Dog) has been moved out a few times already....
20th Century Fox's list has a lot of maybes on it. Jumper, Horton Hears a Who, Starship Dave... I'm interested in Babylon AD and Australia but they're in the later half of the year at best.
Warner Brothers has a few I'm interested in. Just a little. I will see Speed Racer, Get Smart and The Dark Knight. Whiteout keeps getting moved around, so we'll see what happens there. Oh and Harry Potter 6 will be a Thanksgiving movie, which I will undoubtedly see.
Paramount looks really strong to me. There are movies up and down the scale and a few that'll just pull money in hand over fist. I'm going to see Cloverfield, Stop Loss, Iron Man, Indiana Jones IV, Kung Fu Panda, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Star Trek. There are a few others I haven't seen anything for, so I have no idea but they seem interesting in premise.
This doesn't include Sony or Colubmia (which is technically part of Sony...) I'm sure we'll be seeing those soon.
There are recent trailers for The Duchess (based on the book Georgiana, Duchess of Devonshire which I entirely enjoyed) and Harold and Kumar Escape From Guantanamo. Be Kind, Rewind is also coming out soon, which I'm looking forward to seeing. As well as Hancock which seems funny. It is a different take on heroes and as Laura says "What is it about people throwing marine life? It just makes a movie awesome."
Anyway... I think that's it for now.
