lithera: (Love you)
It isn't often that someone declares that they're getting married and I get teary. This is the second time. I'm going to be my sister's Maid of Honor.... and now..

Well. I've noticed it's getting really.... married around here. It is the thing to do, of course, when one reaches a certain point but... Ehn. I might feel differently if there were someone in my life who lived within an hour driving time but right now that whole idea sort of makes me twitch.

Sort of like how they idea of moving out to live by myself for awhile feels mostly liberating. There is a little bit of the 'AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH! Living on my own is scary!' in there but it mostly feels really good.

So. I totally need to come up with a grand adventure for me and Holly. And, because of work, it will likely not be in the winter. *ponder, ponder*
If you don't own Firefly... and you want to... Might I.. recommend you take advantage of this sale....? It's only $30 when it is normally $50.

There is lots of good stuff there but... I'm pushing this specifically. Because its good.

All of the reviews I've seen of Batman are like, "Wow. It's a real movie... Not like a comic book movie..." which is valid praise, since Spider-Man (1 & 2) were excellent movies but they lived inside the conventions of the genre... Still. Anyway. Batman Begins is apparently closer to a thriller or horror movie. Which is fitting.

Paramount has pulled the plug on WATCHMEN. I want this movie to happen but... Well. We'll see what happens after Batman. I think that'll shake some things up.

There are crazy, crazy rumors... Apparently Peter Mayhew has signed a multi-year contract with Lucas. So. Are we going to have Wookies on TV? The crazy rumors might be that it becomes the Han and Chewie show ... but that seems unlikely for so many reasons... And it would likely be awful.

Bruce Campbell's Man with the Screaming Brain is apparently a ton of fun. No surprise there.

The King Kong Trailer will be infront of War of the Worlds.

Ben Affleck is interested in the Hawaii Five-O remake in thr works.

And yes, The Simpsons movie is on the move. It's happening. I wish that this show were as funny as it used to be, though.
www.cantstopthesignal is updated with new showtimes for Serenity. LA is sold out but Seattle's doesn't seem to exist in Fandango yet. May I point out that there is a Vancouver listing?

Watch here.
