I had a great time playing Brian's Vampire game last night. I honestly don't think I've had this much fun playing Vampire since I first played it, before it became boring for me. There are a few reasons for this. First is, I haven't played Vmapire in like... several million years now and there have been a lot of changes since then. I'm not reading the books on purpose, so.... It's all new seeming again. That's good. Secondly... Brian is a great GM.

Mmmmmmm. Sleepy. Mrrrrr.

I need to buy gloves. My steering wheel is so cold in the morning that is sucks all of the warmth out of my hands, almost to the point of painful. Mmmmmmm. Maybe tonight. Maybe tomorrow. *ponders* We shall see.

I should get to work. Mmmmm.

Maybe movie update later.
You know what? I give up. I love Star Wars and not even the prequels can kill that for me. I love it. I realized that when I saw this fold out cover for Vanity Fair. It isn't something I'm going to try to justify or defend to myself. I'm just going to allow myself to love it. I can't kill something that was that big a part of my childhood.

On to a few things less personal and movie related.

Peter Jackson and Philippa Boyens are going to make The Lovely Bones into a movie after they're done with King Kong. It was a great book and I think they'll do magical things with it.

It looks like Natalie Portman is in serious contention for a role in V for Vendetta. (Being produced by those people that brought you The Matrix movies.)

There are sweet Batman pictures poping up all over the place. It's only a few months now!

Rent is turning into a movie and Christopher Columbus directing it. He's bringing along as much of the original cast as he can grab and the script is as close to the stage script as it can be while turning it into a movie.

Here are some early pictures of the Hitchhiker's movie.

Emmanuelle Vaugier has been cast for the Sci Fi Channel's Painkiller Jane.

Apparently The Rock is a big front-runner to play He-Man. Well... I'd go see it.

..... and I think that's it right now.

*gasp*

Wow.

And I could walk there from work...

AUGH. Do I have $200 for this?

I want $200 for that but... I can't really afford it now.

*jumps up and down* ARG!
I am now the owner of a 5 pound back of pistachios. A vendor sent them to us and well... I needed a mostly low carb snack. I don't think I can eat them all before they go stale, though. Maybe I'll have to take them home.

It is like... the largest bag of pistchios ever, though.

And I bought gloves and neat socks at lunch. I needed them. It's cold.

Weeeeee.

From Komo:

I think if the Seattle Mariners are still looking for another pitcher this season, maybe they could sign Mother Nature. She sure has a wicked curveball...

And she just threw another one at the Northwest (as she often does with snow), causing us to once again have to tweak our forecast just a tad. While generally, we're still on track, the snow now looks to arrive later in the Seattle area -- moreso Friday afternoon/evening than Friday morning. One note before we get into this: as you might have guessed by now, this is an incredibly difficult forecast, so bear with us.
