It's 8:20

And already my morning has been interesting.

I've managed to be a Saftey Czar (actively using the training) and a grief counselor with in the first 20 minutes of being here. The rest of the day doesn't need to be like this at all.

Back in Black makes my day better. "Don't you idiots read Thucydides?"

There were other things I think I wanted to say here but I have no idea what they are at this point.

Go figure. I send out a lot of e-mail. I randomly e-mail people during the day because I'm thinking of them or I see that they're doing something or... I wander by a website and see an e-mail address. I've written e-mail to lots of people I don't really know - mostly writers and artists to thank them for what it is they do, because I do appreciate it.

I think this might be the first time it's developed into an actual correspondence as opposed to one of those lovely e-mails back that goes something like, "Thanks for the e-mail! Glad you like the work." or something like that. (The exception is Neil Gaiman who I helped with more work related things, so... I don't think that really counts, though I did get a lot of e-mail from him for awhile.)

I guess there are benefits to liking hockey and comic books.

Phone calls to make, e-mail to write, training to write.... I should go eat lunch, though sitting here and letting Trent scream in my ears does sound really tempting as well.
