Illium by Dan Simmons is an excellent book so far. It is wrong that a book can make me this giddy by being Illiad based but so far there has been "Sing, O Muse..." and analysis of a Shakesperean sonnet. I'm less than 50 pages in, too.

Thank you for the pictures, Gavin! Does anyone know how to make the picture changey icons? Maybe with some nice fonts on it? Maybe? PLEASE? I have pictures I want to make into an icon.

My Miffy bunny clock wakes me up. (Thanks Steve!) Oh man does it wake me up. This two alarm clock system works pretty good so far.

I still really hurt.
Today has been minimally productive.
I just want to curl up with my aches, pains, stiffness in my joints and veto the next few hours.
Two plus four is six.
I'm going to have to be on-line tonight to deal with staff things and with the mood I'm in right now, this is not a good thing.
I want a blanket so I can curl up and hide.
