I'll write up what I thought of Hidalgo later. Suffice to say I was pleased with the price I paid to see it, which was free. It wasn't a waste of my time but paying more than matinee price would have been disappointing. A decent write up will come later.

I bought the newest fairy smut book. I'm about half way through it. Yeah, I have a thing for elves. Bite me.

I woke up this morning with a prayer on my lips that it was Friday. I was so disappointed when it wasn't. I don't know why I so wished it to be Friday other than typical end of the week things. I'll be going down south to visit with Mike and Leigh and David tomorrow. Anyone else wants to join for movie night, you're more than welcome, just ask Mike first.

Hmmmmm. I have a feeling there was something else but right now... I can't recall it.
From Variety: Morgan Freeman and Liam Neeson are confirmed to have joined the cast of Warner Bros.' new Batman film. Freeman will play Lucius Fox, a respected businessman and the CEO of billionaire Bruce Wayne's mega-conglom, based in Gotham City. Liam Neeson plays the villain, Ra's Al Ghul, a wealthy international terrorist. So sweet. Hee hee.

Kevin Smith will write and direct the film version The Green Hornet for Miramax. He wants Jet Li for Kato. They're trying to start filming this summer.

The international trailers for Troy and for Harry Potter are up. If anyone wants them, let me know.

Miramax Films has announced a March 26, 2004 release date of Jersey Girl, Kevin Smith's latest feature project.

There are rumors buzzing about of making Monty Python and the Holy Grail into a Broadway musical. It would be interesting, certainly but... I don't know. It would be Python written but not likely acted.

Mike Dougherty and Dan Harris (X2 writers) are writing the movie script for Ender's Game.

There is still all sorts of uncertainty about what the heck is going on with Disney. I'm not at all sure.

Here is a review of Punisher. Not what I was expecting at all.

I have hope.
Part of my getting out of bed issue is the lack of anyone else doing it. Cody's been on break all week and so I don't get the friendly, "Get the heck out of bed right now" warning that is typically him leaving for work.

What the heck am I going to do all summer?

Can I start denying the existance of that wretched season now? It never works but it makes me feel better.
