lithera: (Rar!)
I love this site. This Matrix parody rules. If you haven't been there before check out the Daredevil and Spider-man ones as well. Funny, funny stuff.

Cody is slowly moving into our place. It is strange that it feels slowly more and more full as his things come into the house. Strange in that apparently the house didn't feel full before and it is starting to now.

I've started reading The Peloponesian War by Donald Kagan. So far it is an excellent read. He's written it for someone who doesn't know anything about the time, place or players so there is some that is very over explained for me but the writing style is such that I don't mind so much. I've read some of his academic works and so this is amazingly easy and pleasant in comparison.

Tired. Meh.
Aeon Flux is filming in Brazil. Here are some pictures of the place. It should work really well for the movie.

Reviews of Battle Royale 2 coming in and they aren't so favorable.

Hollywood Reporter: Felicity and Alias creator J.J. Abrams has set his sights on the world of bounty hunters for his new TV series project.

Thunderbirds looks really interesting. I never really watched the show but it looks cool.

George Clooney confirmed Tuesday that Ocean's Eleven sequel Ocean's Twelve will start filming in Rome in February. In the sequel, scheduled for a December 10, 2004 release date, the gang is back and has their eye set on a big caper in England. But Terry Benedict hasn't forgotten what happened last time, and is hot on their trail.

Orlando Bloom, who plays Legolas in The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, told Sci Fi Wire that he recently completed reshoots for the final film in the trilogy. "I did the reshoots a few weeks ago," Bloom said in an interview while promoting his upcoming film Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl. "[Director Peter Jackson] loved the audience's reaction in the first movie [to] Leggy running over the back of the cave troll and killing the cave troll, and then in the second movie, sliding down the stairs and jumping [off] the horse. And in the third movie, he's kind of combined a whole load of stuff. So it's like another one of those sort of Leggy moments." (Hee hee hee. Leggy. Hee hee.)

James Caviezel was in Atlanta this past Saturday for the 2003 Eucharistic Congress sponsored by the Archdiocese of Atlanta. Twice that day they screened the preview trailer for "The Passion," the Mel Gibson-directed movie starring Caviezel as Jesus Christ and Monica Bellucci. Apparently the trailer is amazingly powerful and is in Latin and Arameic entirely. The production is currently targeting an April, 2004 release date.

Silver Sable will appear in an upcoming episode of MTV's Spider-Man animated series. The episode will be called "Spider-Man Dis-Sabled" and Silver Sable is voiced by Virginia Madsen. (Silver Sable, Silver Sable!)

Tobey Maguire has a very long interview in the August 2003 issue of "Playboy". Lots of Spidey stuff if anyone is looking for an excuse to buy a copy.
This all reminds me that I need to fix my voter registration since I've moved again. I always forget that one.

Anyway, I've done a little looking around now that my interest has been captured. Dennis Kucinich and I seem to agree on a lot of things, however, there are some points we most certainly do not agree on. I don't agree on cancelling NAFTA. However, his stance on abortion, gay rights, education, the 'war on drugs' and just about everything else is right there with me. It bares serious thought. I would like to see him in a debate.

I haven't been able to find one site as comprehensive for Howard Dean but there are more sites around. There is a Blog out there for him which is interesting and informative. Can anyone find a site out there that has his stance on things in a clear cut format? I find where we agree but I'm not seeing where we don't as of yet.
