I'm back...

So, after taking a day off for various reasons... Most of them being me not wanting to try to handle other people at all, I am back at work. Wheeee. Work. And.. well.. Yeah. Go and listen to Break Stuff by Limp Bizkit. That's about where I was before taking the day off.

*sigh*

I'm hoping for Steve to get hired for both of us. I really, really think we could both use the money fairy making a stop with us.

Mike coming over yesterday was nice. He got to watch Sean go a little crazy and played an excellent Mexican nun. Woooo!

The Ducks are going to the Western Conference finals. The Eastern Conference Finals are Ottawa and New Jersey, which is pretty much how I thought that would work. At this point, I would like to see the Canucks pull it out. I would love to see an all Canada cup. That would rule. I would be hard pressed to cheer against Ottawa or Vancouver, though I would do my damnedest to get tickets to see a Stanley Cup game.
The Matrix reviews are coming in and interestingly, they're a mixed bag. Some people are super hyper excited and others are kind of luke warm. Very few people hating it, but there will always be a few. Apparently Time's article on it reveals the ending, so don't read it if you don't want to know. (And the review isn't that sparkling, either.)

This evening's Buffy? Gonna be all about the sex and love, my friends. What else do you do when the world is going to end?

Paramount Home Video has made the official announcement that the "Indiana Jones" trilogy will hit DVD in a 4-disc set on November 4th!!!! Who-hoo! Each film has had its image meticulously restored with THX digital remastering and sports a new Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack. Available in both widescreen and full-screen versions, there is no suggested retail price but the collection is anticipated to be available for approximately $49.95 in the U.S. (international prices will vary). Go check out the trailer for the DVDs.

There are new trailers out there for Finding Nemo, Spy Kids 3-D and a whole host of other movies.

X2 made $85.56 million opening weekend. Fourth largest opening ever behind Spider-Man ($114.8 million), "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone ($90.3 million) and "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets ($88.4 million).
X2 is still in my heart and I will see it again, probably more than once more.

However... I'm starting to think of pirates.... and consequently elves.

I'm glad theres is goodness between now and then.
