It was good.

Except for that losing to the Ducks thing. Rar. Cujo. Rar. Hell. Everyone. RAR!

Anyway, other than that, it was a good weekend. It was nice to hang out with Mike and David, even if we could manage to ambush Mike at all. I'm sure we'll manage next time... or.. the time after that.. or some time.

Got to hang out with Holly and do stupid things with microphones and thrash my voice pretty badly. I'm a little gravelly sounding this morning.

Yesterday was lovely and laid back and the good old Necromancer game. Mmmmm. So much strangeness there. I'll have to post, since I can for some of it. Yeah. Alanna is so broken she's almost incapable of functioning and it causes her to do some stupidly brave things. She doesn't realize it and it hasn't become a problem yet, but she has a bit of a death wish. The why of the death wish is even more complicated. She hasn't even begun to think about why she wants it and that's complicated as well. Strange, strange girl. Though only vaguely related I had some other interesting revelations from other characters, some of which is seeping through to me, really making sense, for the first time.
There is a review of X2 here. There are spoilers, but they're pretty light from what I can tell, though if you want to know /nothing/, I would stay away. Some very complimentary things about Wolverine and umm.... Eeeeeee! And because I trust Moriarty, I'm going to stop looking at spoilers. I can wait... 18 days.

It seems that The Amazing Spider-Man is filming at Columbia University and there are pictures of Peter Parker and Dr. Conors. This is a good thing.

Ian McKellan is saying that Return of the King is looking better than the first two combined and that if they make X3 (which is looking more and more likely) he'll be there.

Variety reports that the wheels are in motion on Revolution Studios' big screen adaptation of the 1980s TV show Knight Rider.

Primal Fear star Richard Gere and director Gregory Hoblit have committed to reteam on Emperor Zehnder, from Hyde Park Entertainment and National Geographic. Variety says the film is a love story centered around the true story of Bruno P. Zehnder, who dedicated his life to photographing Emperor penguins in the Antarctic, and his love affair with a New York-based doctor who accompanied him on one of his photographic journeys.

Actress Audrey Tautou and helmer Jean-Pierre Jeunet, who generated box office and Oscar sparks with Amelie in 2001, are reteaming for Jeunet's next project, an adaptation of the bestselling novel A Very Long Engagement.

There is a new Charlie's Angels trailer. It's in Yahoo, so the quality isn't the best... Still, the movie looks like fun.

Here is a link to the X2 soundtrack listings from the composer's site. This looks more like a score, but I'm good with it.

Zatanna: Everyday Magic, a Prestige Format Special, is now sold out at DC Comics.

Mmmmm...
