Some interesting things about Phantom of the Opera becoming a movie and Wonder Woman and Catwoman as well. Though apparently they're starting to scout locations for shooting in Vancouver for Catwoman.

Apparently there will be a Grease 3... with Travolta and Newton-John. So... Yeah.

A plea for Warner Brothers to get it right... Superman in specific, but I think all of DC in specific.

I must watch Static Shock this weekend. It's part one of A League of their Own. Static and the Justice League and wow is he in over his head.

And for some reason I have the Samurai Jack theme in my head.

Soderbergh is filming his part of the film while prepping Ocean's Twelve with his Section Eight partner George Clooney and producer Jerry Weintraub. They expect to shoot the ensembler next February, releasing the film in late 2004. George Nolfi is rewriting his script, which will be set in Europe.

The principal pirate is none other than Johnny Depp, who gets to wear braids, earrings, braided whiskers and dangling earrings for a really cool pirate's outfit. "It's layers of pirate garb. I got my compass, my baldric, and my sword, " said Depp as he pointed out his costume to our Access Hollywood cameras. His swashbuckling co-star is Orlando Bloom of The Lord of the Rings movies. "I can't believe how lucky I've been. I've played an elf. I've been a boxer, an outlaw and now a pirate. I'm living like every boy's dream -- it's unbelievable," Bloom told Access.
Toni Smith turned her back on the American flag while the anthem was being played at her college basketball games. Here is her statement as to why. It is well said and she's found words to describe how I feel. Good for her.

The Red Wings walked all over the Maple Leafs last night. 7-2 is pretty ugly.

I keep having this feeling that I was going to do something important and now I can't remember what it was. I hate that. Rar.

.... What else...? I'm still stuck in Vlad Taltos land after having finished reading Issola. That didn't end like I thought it would at all.
What is your favorite type of literature to read (magazine, newspaper, novels, nonfiction, poetry, etc.)?

Novels. Easily. Typically fantasy, though there are sci-fi moments. Though I enjoy history and humanities books.

What is your favorite novel?

Dear Lord. I honestly don't know. So many good things I've read....

I don't think I can pick just one. American Gods. The Lions of Al-Rassan. To Regin in Hell. Job: A Comedy of Justice. Pride and Prejudice. Kushiel's Dart....

Do you have a favorite poem? (Share it!)

http://www.emory.edu/EDUCATION/mfp/cummings.html Pick one. They've all been my favorite at some point.

What is one thing you've always wanted to read, or wish you had more time to read?

There is so much good stuff out there... I'd like to read some Ayn Rand, just because. Maybe some more Russian lit.

What are you currently reading?

The Lions of Al-Rassan - just finished Issola last night.
Listening to "It's Not Easy Being Green".

For some reason it is making me tear up and get all sniffly.
