Feb. 11th, 2003

It's been a morning. I was busy reading The Prize in The Game and didn't get off at my stop to transfer busses. So, I had a nice 10 block walk this morning. Nothing too bad. Still got here on time. My back is pretty much better or that walk would have really sucked.

I have four interviews today. All up at PacMed. We'll see how things go. I hate thses four on one interviews. I understand that the team wants to have something to do with choosing the new person since you don't want to hire someone you can't work with, but still....

Anyway... A bit scattered this morning.

Oscar nominations here with just a bit of commentary. I'm not overly surprised. Just lots of movies I'll have to see when the come out on DVD. "”Academy Award nominee Eminem.” Try saying that out loud a few times." I love it when he says things like that.

Hmmmmmm. Interesting Buffy and Angel rumors. I will not repeat them here for those who do not like being even that spoiled. If you want to know, write me an e-mail or something.

They've finally got a director for Memoirs of a Geisha. It could be an astounding movie. The book was writtin in a way that would allow you to take it almost directly to the screen.

The villain for Spy Kids 3D is going to be the ToyMaker and he's being played by.... Sylvester Stalone.

Spider-Man 2 is going to start shooting in New York in April.

That's it for the moment.
Ummmmmm. Wow.

I can afford this. http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/030210/nym193_1.html

Sure it would be tight, but... *ponders*

This is a reason for having a passport.
Off I go into the wild blue.... interviewing?

Anyway.. Be back later.
Tired. Done with interviews. Should hear back about both of them later this week.

*yawn*

"College tuition is free or nominal in most industrialized, and many Third World, countries. The United States' insistence that students assume huge debts to pay for their college education is unusual enough that the Chinese government included it in its 2001 report of American human rights violations."
