Today was my first day to run to the bus. Good to know I can do it, even when my back says I shouldn't. In the end I probably didn't need to run, but if I hadn't... It's just one of those things.

I'm almost done with Inferno by Niven and Pournelle. It's a good book, though the main character drives me a little crazy. I think long before him I would have admitted that I was in Hell. Of course, I don't know if I'd have ever gotten the chance.

Interestingly enough I had one of my chats with (insert diety here) yesterday. I just kind of talk at the sky for awhile, unload somethings to whatever happens to be listening up there. It had been awhile since I had done it and it felt pretty good. I don't ever expect to hear back and that's just as well.
So starts the Matrix hype... "A massive multimedia campaign begins today on the Net with the release of a new animated short film set in The Matrix universe. Three additional shorts will be posted free on the Web over the next three months at www.thematrix.com.

Your first chance to jack into The Matrix world arrives today with the free download of The Second Renaissance: Part One, a nine-minute widescreen short. The segment is directed by Mahiro Maeda, who directed the Japanese animated series Blue Submarine No. 6."

Paul Dini (Batman Beyond) is pushing for a Metal Men cartoon. That could either be really cool or really lame....

Marvel Encyclopedia 2: X-Men, a hardcover featuring information on more than 350 characters from the 40-year-old comics series is coming out before the movie. Oooooooooo.

And as for me, I just saw the window washer guy on the building across from me let go of the edge. I about had a heart attack before I realized why he didn't fall.
Well that was odd. All of the buildings around here just lost power and gained it back like half a minute later.

Can't buy Daredevil tickets yet. Want to buy them. Want to know theaters to choose from. Damn it.

Bastards.

*sighs*

And as an entirely unrelated note - Sometimes it's really hard to be the responsible person. That doesn't mean you can just stop, drop everything and walk away from it, though. That's even worse than never picking it up.

I'm a little frustrated right now.
