There is going to be a special premier opening of the Two Towers here in Seattle on the 16th. Damn it. If anyone hears how to get in on that action, will you let me know?

Wow. Batman 608 sold out its second printing.

"I'm flabbergasted," Lee said. "The response from retailers and fans has been completely beyond what Jeph and I expected. And this is only after the first issue! This kind of thing is unheard of, in my experience - it's exciting!"

"This is so overwhelming, it's hard to imagine it getting better," Loeb said. "And then I remember that we're only on the first issue! There's all kinds of good stuff coming: Superman, The Joker, Nightwing..."


And I'm feeling a little better. I'm still not quite over this. A night at home this evening will do me good. Then dinner with Pam on Thursday, up to Vancouver on Friday, game in Bellingham on Saturday and home on Sunday. It's been a busy, busy week and a half. I need some time off.

Today is a singing day. I seem to be singing along with everything that comes onto my station... Half the time I don't notice.

I keep on forgetting that I'm taking Friday off to go to Vancouver. I'm so psyched about this. Likely seventeen million things will go wrong, but that's okay; it makes thigns more interesting. I mean, honestly, what more could I expect travelling with two Discordians?

I will have to e-mail myself the last few pages of my writing tomorrow so I can work on it on Friday and Sunday, otherwise I will never meet the dead line next Saturday.

Still, I am at 32,600 or something close to that. The numbers really do get eaiser after 30,000. It seems like much less of a struggle.
