Hate my body. Hate.

Ugh.

*mutters*

(Note all statements are modified by the early in the morning factor and the fact that I am really not feeling well. No explicit descriptions this morning.)
Thank you [profile] archeon for this. Hostess fruit pies. The Joker and fruit pies. It's great. I love this page. Green Arrow rules.

In other news my burn is now all scabby. Eeeeew. Gotta get another bandaid for it.

My body hates me.

I have my postbac application and have read through it. I'm sending it in obscenely early, but then again, that means I have plenty of time to try other options if this doesn't work.

What else? Don't know. I got paid today. *nods* Time to go get comic books after work. Then to take out money for food for the next few weeks. Then hide my cards from myself.

Ugh.
Well, there looks to be a Die Hard 4 being made. Huh. Everyone wants a chance at reliving their glory days, I guess.

Resident Evil 2 is gonna start shooting next year... What happened to a movie having to be good before they considered a sequel?

The Birds of Prey episode that I'm waiting for has been moved to the 8th of the year or so it seems. Wheeeee. Ugh. As far as I can tell they'll be stealing a lot of ideas from the comics and then changing them just enough so they aren't really the ideas. Like that metahuman was the Scarecrow, like there will be others coming up who seem like they should be people we know, but they aren't. Bah, I say.

Brett Ratner is all giddy about his Superman movie. Bah.

Just a lot of Bah, I think.
On CNN - The U.S. changes the status of Navy Capt. Scott Speicher, shot down over Iraq in January 1991, to missing-captured. Details soon.

Was someone looking for a reason for Dubya to drum up some more support or fervor?
I am in receipt of your message to my office via electronic mail. If you are a West Virginia constituent and have provided a postal address, you will hear from me further.

Sincerely yours,

Robert C. Byrd
United States Senator

It's likely an automated response, but it is nice.

Keen.

One of the movie/tv/random VHS DVD editors stopped in the Hallway and asked, "You're that sci-fi fan, aren't you?"

I said yes, because, well, I did talk to him about Farscape and stuff not too long ago.

He turned into his office, turned back and handed me stuff. I now own the complete second season of Lexx, which should be good for the laughs at least and four episodes of Farscape Season 2 on DVD. (Including "The Way We Weren't")

I now have more contacts for stuff. Eeee! David = weird DVD guy. Ben (not the guy in my office, different Ben) = Sci-fi/Fantasy/Gaming editor.

I have to remember to take some of this home and give it to people.
