Well, on Friday we were going to game, but Brian was sick, so maybe we'll game on the 5th. I don't know. Holiday weekends are weird.

Instead we went out to eat and then Kris, Sean and I went back to watch SG-1 and Farscape. I like SG-1 and I love Farscape. The plot to Farscape this season is really just ... well, I'm not sure what's happening. It just seems very surreal.

Saturday I did some stuff on-line and and then went shopping with Kevin for the party. Then realized, after getting on the bus, that our plan for getting to Sean's was impossible because 520 was closed. So, we called Kris and she came and picked us up. Kevin showed me some Helsing. Niiiiiice. I like. Went to Sean's party had a good time. Later that evening saw an episode of Cowboy Bebop I hadn't seen before. I got little sucess in sleeping that evening on Sean's futon. Blerg.

Sunday, woke up and got breakfast. Or rather, grumbled a lot watched some tv, everyone else woke up or got out of bed and then we went to breakfast. Then we went to see the movies.

Lilo & Stitch is possibly my favorite Disney movie ever. It's funny, its cute, its sad, its witty... It is everything I was looking for in a Disney movie. It was on Kauai and it was nice. There were lots of people I hope to see (hear?) do more voice acting.

Minority Report is a movie that just keeps giving and giving. You think its over and it isn't - there is more. The thing is, its good more. More twists, more turns. The sci-fi stuff looked like it could be where we might be in 50 years. There were constant "woah"s from Sean and myself. I want that computer. I want it. I want the glove things too. So neat and pretty. Tome Cruise was lovely and did a marvelous job. I want to re-read the story and see what was different, because I honestly don't remember.

Learned some things this weekend about myself. Not sure what exactly any of it is yet. Still filtering through the reactions.

I need some coffee.
My grandmother is in the hospital again. They're doing more surgery and might do the bipass while looking around if it is needed enough.

This is evoking all sort of odd things in me. I just don't want to have to fly back to Michigan right now. It would... I... I want her to be okay.
No one won the lottery on Saturday.

Must buy Lotto ticket.
If you haven't seen the inter-stitch-als for Lilo and Stitch I recommend going and looking at all of them here I love them. I'm not sure which is my favorite, but I think I need to buy some Dinsey movies on DVD. I always forget how much I enjoy Aladdin and the Lion King.

Pretty.

I've been trying to get the trailer to load all day. I guess so has most of the rest fo the world for all of my lack of success.
I almost started crying this evening. You see, I putt ogether my shelf for my comic books and Iw as going through them and I thought I was missing a box.

It was the one with all of the older stuff I own in it.

I almost started crying.

Then I found not one, but two comic boxes. I don't know if they'll all fit on my new shelf. I'm making a list of what I've lost of the years so I can go back and fill in the blanks.

I found Emperor Joker. I have tons of SIP. I'm missing four issues in the entire run. I'm missing 5 of all of WildC.A.T.S. I'm missing a few random issues of X-men here and there, but they could be mixed in with my Uncanny X-men which was one of the boxes I found.

I definately need new magazine holders and I need bags and boards. As soon as I have them all organized and in bags and boards and in holders and all of that, I'll consider starting a lending library or something.

I know I wouldn't have enough room if I had my comics from Michigan. I have another long, long box full of Batman. Maybe I'll have them send that out to me. I'd definately need another shelf then.

I need laquer or stain.
