Friday I went out to Angels and then to the Merc with friends. It was a good time. I did't really see anyone I knew other than those I came with, which was faintly surprising, but entirely okay. I wasn't really up for dancing, but I had a good time anyway. I hadn't spent time with any of the people I was with in sometime. I got sleepy and walked home. Note to self. Need shoes to go clubbing in what are not heels or are more comfortable to walk in.

Saturday I helped Sean move and drove with Tim. Tim is a good driver, he just has to get used to driving, as we all did at some point. (Or would if you haven't yet.) Then I tried to get to Joe's thing but it was not to be, so I went over to keep Kris' company. She's still got bronchitis, so I'm hoping that she gets better soon. Bronchitis sucks. I dislike it. We watched Say Anything. Everyone needs a Lloyd Dobbler in their life, I think.

Sunday was D&D. Much better session than recently, I think, though there is a bunch of in character issues to deal with now. Since there is a new character, Half of the party is evil. Half of the party is good. My chracter is neutral. The thing is, I was fine with the evil people until their actions started threatening my continued existance. When you put treasure over party survival, that's an issue. The new guy is a necromancer and well, that makes him nearly impossible for my character to trust him with his unholy aura thing going on. So, I have to try to save the world with a bunch of people I don't trust enough to sleep in the same area with. This will be interesting.

Brian snuck up on me this morning. I was deep in thought and not expecting to run into anyone I knew. It was pleasant to talk to him this morning even though my brain was still jump starting. I wasn't quite in deal with people mode yet.
Strangely, today seems to be a Nine Inch Nails and Annie Lennox sort of day.

Mmmmmmmm.

Wow.

I think I'll need to look at this more when I have more time.

Mythopoeic stuff is neat. I find the neatest stuff on Neil Gaiman's journal.

Marci, this would interest you. Look at who else is up for their award.
People send in the best captions for this thing.
