And so it begins...

I have the keys my my new place.

I have permision to do whatever I want to that walls as long as they are the building color before I move out. I'll get the paint to repaint them the correct color from the apartment manager since the walls need to be painted anyway.

I have asked Kevin and Brian to help me decide what to do with my new apartment. I have decided that I want a place that suits me. I want a place that feels like me. I'm tired of living in places that aren't mine and I have no connection to. I want a place that's mine and not just because I live in it. Pictures and paintings and wall hangings and... Stuff.

Eventually, I want my own couches, my own chairs... That will be awhile in coming. A corner for pillows maybe... Draping things that are not bead curtains and... Just things.

Oh, as I side note, I realize what someone is getting for their birthday. I have my work cut out for me.
