Curiouser and curiouser....

It's strange the things I'm noticing as I slowly but surely lose weight. First it was my jeans fitting strangely and then it was my jeans moving differently as I walked. Now it's when I go to rest my head in the palm of my hand, it fits differently.

Stranger and stranger.

These things are odd. I keep waiting to fit into the pair of smaller jeans that I accidentally bought awhile ago. I'm closer than I was when I bought them. By a lot.

*Kat now takes time to kvetch about her job with other people in her department*

Anyway... I should get something done.

Hotmail ate an entire folder of stuff. It just happened to be the stuff that I gave a damn about. Erg.

I don't think there is any of it that is irreplacable. Except maybe one thing. It's a picture. That's the one I'm going to miss the most, too.

The logs, the files of info, the stores... all of those I can get again.

Flight...

Well, I'm going to be doing my best to save money here in the next few months. I want to go visit my friend Lu. She lives in Bologna, Italy. She says she'll be able to help with the money part, but I really want to pay for as much of this as I can by myself. I have yet to find a flight there or to Milan for less then 1,100. That's a lot of money.

I'd like to go in Spetember, but I'll put it off as long as I have to until I have the money.

She's had a really rough year and she always manages to deal with everything that comes her way with such grace. It's astounding and I can't ever seem to express that well enough to anyone else. No one should ever have to go through in a little over four months what she's done.

So, I want to visit and see if I can bring a little comfort with me.
