If you haven't seen the inter-stitch-als for Lilo and Stitch I recommend going and looking at all of them here I love them. I'm not sure which is my favorite, but I think I need to buy some Dinsey movies on DVD. I always forget how much I enjoy Aladdin and the Lion King.

Get your Disney movies on DVD now before they disappear. I've been trying to buy them when I have extra cash around, but lately, the priorities have been tracking down the beautiful box set laserdiscs they did a few years back.

Haven't seen Lilo & Stitch yet - on the list of things to see.

Yeah. I hate that they do that. I'll get them when I have some cash around.

I guess the older ones are maybe a little before your time, but Peter Pan would be a fine choice.

The song "What Made the Red Man Red" will always hold a dear place in my heart. This song explains that the "Red Man" is red because he is embarassed (drinking problem? scalping conviction, and nothing to do with tickets?), but actually not because of anything in the previous parentheses, but because the first "Injun prince" kissed a maid and began blushing, and ever since then, all Indians have been blushing. That's right, Indians are actually just embarassed white people. I highly recommend pointing this out to one of them and trying to talk him through his shame, perhaps he will lighten to the point of being downright Aryan. Disney taught me good things.

I will include the lyrics for good measah:

Why does he ask you, "How?"
Why does he ask you, "How?"
Once the Injun didn't know
All the things that he know now
But the Injun, he sure learn a lot
And it's all from asking, "How?"

Hana Mana Ganda
Hana Mana Ganda
We translate for you
Hana means what mana means
And ganda means that too

When did he first say, "Ugh!"
When did he first say, "Ugh!"
In the Injun book it say
When the first brave married squaw
He gave out with a big ugh
When he saw his Mother-in-Law

What made the red man red?
What made the red man red?
Let's go back a million years
To the very first Injun prince
He kissed a maid and start to blush
And we've all been blushin' since

You've got it from the headman
The real true story of the red man
No matter what's been written or said
Now you know why the red man's red!

Of course, Disney does pull a title then do a special edition shortly thereafter (like with Peter Pan.)

Biggest problem for me - Disney over prices their DVDs. Especially when they first released them - Little Mermaid was $49.99! Come on!
