Well. Yesterday I finished a romance novel by one of my favorite romance authors. This one was refershing. There was no dramatic falling in love. There was no weirdness about sex. The main couple were lovers and friends and decided they were comfortable with that. There was no amazing push to get married. In fact, it was almost more of a mystery than a romance novel. I was pleased.

So now, I'm reading Kushiel's Dart. The concept is good. The writing style, if it stays like it is, might get to me. It is a little too ornate at times, but I'm still in the begining when everything is being explained. It is a big thick brick of a book at just over 900 pages. This will take me some time. I'm glad that I have the sequel already.

That's one of the problems with all of these free books. I'll never get around to reading all of them. I have no idea when I'll get to the biography of Admiral Nelson.

Yesterday was enough heat to turn whatever it is in my body from capture heat to release heat. Ugh. Way too warm.

Today will be mostly spent on the phone. Yeah! That'll be great fun, I think. Watch me lose my voice.

It was good seeing people at Gameworks last night.

I am torn between "Ooh, can I borrow Kushiel's Chosen?" and "I really wish Kushiel's Dart had been a stand-alone."

The writing style doesn't really change much. She's that overwrought the whole way through. I lilked it, though. (And I believe I've heard of you reading Anita Blake, so the BDSM will be as nothing to you.)

I'll be talking more than I have since I was teaching. I nearly lost my voice doing that daily for the first two weeks. I probably won't lose my voice.

I'll just be drinking lots of water.

Oooooh. Well, we'll see if the writing style doesn't drive me batty and I will read it. Mainly because its been awhile since I've read a books this long and honestly, I really, really, really like the idea.

If it is any comfort the second one seems to be sound, from the loking over I gave it. But Then again, its hard to tell from a glance or two.

Your wording is ambiguous, should I take this to mean that you're missing out or that you lack taste and sophistication? As I'm sure you know, Fabio gives any book he's involved with just that extra bit of class that is so much needed in the romance genre.

Take the following for example, Dangerous, this book is actually written by Fabio and is my favorite book.
