litheraCon was fabulous. I had a marvelous time. I haven't had that much fun in a long time at a Con. People said they saw drama. I didn't see anything I could call drama that wasn't started (or at least made worse) bhy the people who complained about it. None of it bothered me anyway. I was relaxed and tried to hang with everyone I knew and was successful to some degree with that. I would be doing one thing, trying to finish it up to hang with people and then when I was done they wouldn't be there anymore. Ah well. Not my loss, I guess.
I wish I'd gottent to see more of Julz, but it was not to be, I guess. Same goes of Jamie, Kevin and Eliza. Of course, Jamie in the straightjacket just sent out vibes that made me very distinctly uncomfortable, so I didn't hang around. I was happy and having a good time and I didn't want that to go away. I'm so rarely actively happy that I didn't want to lose it.
People did their own things, which was also neat. I kind of missed the family feeling I normally have at Con with this group, but it was also nice to be out and about without everyone knowing where everyone was all the time. Joe was enjoying the solitude of just being with Joe. Holly and I had the best time we've had together in ages. I hung out with and actually talked with Luke and that was great. I chatted and shopped with Tina. I danced with lots and lots of people.
I hung out with people and even got nibbled on some. It was generally pleasant.
There were people that were into complaining about things buit for the most part I shrugged and told them they could deal. I talked to this neat costume lady a lot over the weekend and have an order in for an awesome Edwardian coat.
Now I just need the rest of the outfit...
The only downs about Con for me are that I hurt alot. I have a grand amount of muscle aches. I'm very tired and I am kind of poor. Ah well, guess I'll just have to do those 15 hours of overtime being offered this week.
After Con we went over to Jeff and Jen's place and did a little RP preluding for his game starting in the summer.
Now I must sleep.
