litheraLast night was good. I went to dinner with Kris, bought the Lord of the Rings Soundtrack, bought the Ultimate Legend DVD and saw Insomnia.
I though Insomnia was really good. The thing is it doesn't pull you into it the way most movies do. I was really starting to feel like I hadn't slept, just like Al Pacino's character. The camera effects help with that a lot and towards the end you can really see where he is just not thinking clearly at all. The Alaskan scenery is amazing and I enjoyed the interaction between Pacino and Williams. It could have been better, as there were times where the interaction seemed to sputter, but all in all I liked it and don't regret paying full price to see it.
I'm buying my airplane tickets today. I'm going to bring my LadyHawke and Legend DVDs down with me as a friend I'm meeting there has never seen LadyHawke and is drooling over the Legend DVD from afar. Have to start thinking about clothes ant the like, what to pack. (Yes, I actually think about these things this far in advance.)
