This movie was put out over 40 years ago...in 1969 and starred John Wayne....

I do not understand why Hollywood keeps remaking movies and acting like they are new???

So many screenwriters are out there, so many new and possibly wonderfully creative ideas sit just waiting to be found and made into movies.....

I however will see it because I love Jeff Bridges

Oh, I know it was but this one is already much closer to the book. I agree about remakes in general - I am sick of them but the Cohens, generally don't disappoint.
