litheraMy laptop runs find in safe mode with networking. I cannot, for the life of me, figure out what the hell is wrong that it won't run normally. I'm debating between three options: wiping it clean and reinstalling, as it does work, taking it in to someone else and saying 'fix it please' and buying a new one.
First option, I can't read the code on the sticker anymore, so I don't think I can reinstall using Kris' disks. Don't really want to have to buy Windows 7, though I do prefer Windows 7 over XP.
Second option, well, probably would end up having to pay for someone else to do option 1. That seems silly.
Third option, get new shiny thing but costs the most money and feels wasteful as the current laptop does, in fact, work.
Help me internets. I am remarkably indecisive on this. What do you think?
