Today is new Harry Dresden day! Hooray!
Here is a list of what is cancelled and what is continued into next year on TV: http://www.armchaircommentary.com/2010/04/tv-shows-whats-canceled-whats-saved.html
The Voltron movie is really, really in development hell. It seems we're going to give it a THIRD go around with a THIRD script. Seriously guys, I read one of those scripts and it was pretty good. (No, really.) I'm not sure what you're looking for here.
Lucasfilm Animation said Monday that ‘Star Wars‘ is coming to TV as an animated comedy series. The sitcom is still in development and doesn’t have a title yet. And, really, there are like four different Star Wars TV projects all still heading toward happening some day and really, I'm not looking forward to any of them right now. Even if this new one is with Seth Green. Okay. Maybe just a little.
Harrison Ford may be joining Cowboys And Aliens (directed by John Favreau). Right now this is all rumor but Favreau has teased big casting news and there is a rumor that Ford will be working on a comic book property with a 'hot' director next. Hrmmmm.
It looks like there is an actual draft for a third Batman movie making the rounds. I have NO idea how genuine it is. The rumor mill says Emily Blunt has passed on Captain America because she wants to be a certain feline lady... Hrmmmmm. Lots of rumors.
Kryptonsite has learned: "Alaina Huffman will be returning to Smallville in the show's May 14 season finale, 'Salvation,' as Dinah Lance/The Black Canary." Arg.
Director Sylvain White (a name, I think you should start to be familiar with) has worked on Scott Pilgrim VS The World and now, has expressed his interest in helming an adaptation of the classic "Robotech" animated series. This is another project that has been wandering around out there for awhile without much energy.
What was called "War of Gods" will now be called "Immortals" and will follow Theseus around. Since "Clash of the Titans" did big business with Perseus... Yeah. Wonder how into the myth we're gonna get there. The cast is mostly solid at least: John Hurt, Isabel Lucas, Cavill, Stephen Dorff, Luke Evans, Kellan Lutz, Joseph Morgan, Freida Pinto and Mickey Rourke.
I saw this one on TV and couldn't resist it:
Ahem. IS IT MAY YET?
