Ummm. What?
Gary Marshall says that Jamie Foxx is writing a Laverne and Shirley movie for (wait for it) Jessica Biel and Jennifer Garner. Now, those two are just the ones Gary Marshall says he would want but.... the whole thing is just strange.
The Maleficent movie has found a writer and is continuing to move forward.
Will Smith is looking to choose between The City That Sailed (which sounds pretty cool - about a girl who magically causes the island of Manhattan to sail across the Atlantic to be reunited with her father) and Men in Black 3, which sounds like a lot of fun.
Sony is making an all-CGI "Popeye", with the Avi Arad producing. (Likely 3D as well, because what isn't these days?)
Dimension Films has scheduled an August 19, 2011 release for Robert Rodriguez's Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World. Okay.
Olivia Munn is featured on the cover of "Complex" magazine's April/May issue and she talks about how she got a completely new role in Iron Man 2. It seems during editing the movie was coming together a little darker than the role they'd filmed for her, so they either made a new role or re-wrote her entirely. I've only seen sections of the interview, so I'm not sure which it is. She did say "Marvel and Jon had to add another character from the Marvel universe to keep me included," though, so it seems like it has been changed entirely.
Scream 4. Wheee? Ehn.
It looks like they're making another go at actually making a Spy Hunter movie. *shrugs*
It seems that in Transformers 3 JohnMalkovich is Sam Witwicky's first boss and Frances McDormand is the National Intelligence Director. Or that's what the rumors and leaks are saying.
Don Murphy's Angryfilms has optioned film rights to "Little Brother" by Cory Doctrow, which could be amazing. If you haven't read the book, I really recommend it. I recommend it especially to those of you who might have children around the age of 10-14 in the nearby area to pass it off to INSTANTLY.
Lots of good books coming out in April. I'm gonna be swamped again. Hooray! Changes by Jim Butcher is at the top of the list.
